Hardie's CraftsmanshipThe team at Hardies have crafted bagpipes for over 40 years and are trained in the Scottish tradition. Our skills and attention to detail that come with decades of experience in the art ensure that each instrument is precision made with each part inspected at every stage of the process. Before our instruments leave the factory they are inspected by world champion pipers who ensure the bagpipes are of the highest standard required to play at the top level. We take time in crafting bagpipes, even the carefully selected African Blackwood employed is seasoned for months in our conditioning rooms, until they stabilize at a rigidly specified moisture content.
